Font - . Department_Full - 23 hr. ago Ours does this with the nearest sock! She'll start wagging her tail when we get back, go all the way upstairs to pull a sock out of the basket and then brings it to us.

Font - mrswitters03- 20 hr. ago My family's last golden, Maizey, would do that with stuffed animals. She'd hear the garage door, or someone come in thru the basement (we never use the front door), and she'd run to her crate of "babies," pick one out, then stand near the door waiting for them to come in. She'd be crying excitedly thru the stuffed animal with full body wiggles. Even before she passed from cancer, she'd still try to do it. It was pretty f'in cute. And she was the only of our 3 Gold

Font - jenn1d 1 day ago O yes! All 4 of my goldens always have to have something (toy, shoe, pillow etc) in their mouth when excited. I always love the wiggle tail and noises as well

Font - HLG_Alexander - 1 day ago Oh absolutely!! Our golden likes to find a random object and take it outside and drop it off right by the dog door then comes back inside. He shows no discrimination. I've found remotes, pillows, socks, clothes and the most recent was the pronged spoon used to scoop spaghetti (no clue how he got a hold of it lol) all outside.

Dog - girl9976 1 day ago . Absolutely! Goldens are extremely orally fixated & feel the need to have stuff in their mouths OFTEN. My golden LOOKS for something to put in her mouth to greet any & everyone!

Font - thehemanchronicles 1 day ago The breed was bred to retrieve ducks and other fowl for hunters; they've had. generations of conditioning to love gently carrying things around in their mouth. Our golden's favorite thing to have in his mouth is my forearm lol

Font - datodat 1 day ago My house is littered with things he grabs and carries around. My wife's sandal was in my office the other day. He brought it up to me.

Font - Taminella_Grinderfal 1 day ago 100% The only toy ours didn't destroy was his special bear that he would use to great visitors. Along with the muffled happy growly noises and excited whines it was about the cutest thing ever.

Font - driscollat1 1 day ago It's a retriever thing...goldies and Labradors. My Lab MUST greet us with a toy or anything else she can find even if it just a scrap of cardboard.

Font - MatildaWolf 1 day ago Very much so. My golden will always grab one of his blankets when he gets excited. Sometimes he'll grab multiple and have a giant wad of blankets in his mouth.
